Cathy is the Founder and President of ThinkGiving. Cathy is a nationally recognized charitable gift planning thought leader with 25-years in healthcare and higher education. From the moment you meet Cathy, you will recognize her enthusiasm for her work, appreciate her collaborative method for achieving results for both donors and nonprofit organizations alike, and welcome her friendly personality and sense of humor. 

Cathy is the Chief Advancement Officer of Lena Pope a 93-year old children’s social services organization in Fort Worth, Texas.  Cathy serves on the American Council on Gift Annuities Board of Directors. Cathy is a faculty member of California State University Long Beach's American Institute for Philanthropic Studies which administers the Certified Specialist in Planned Giving designation program. Cathy is also the co-host of Charitable Chit Chat with Cathy & Claire, a radio show for philanthropy professionals.  She is past president of the Fort Worth Metro Chapter of AFP, is past president of the Lone Star Council of Charitable Gift Planners, is the past Chair of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP), and is a member of the CGP Leadership Institute. 

Cathy earned a MBA from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Science from North Dakota State University. Cathy is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), and a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG).
